Buy PointLess from Westcode. This will let the GS use TrueType fonts.
For printing, the TrueType fonts are used too, Laser or not does
not make a difference there.
You might also consider TypeWest (a collection of TrueType fonts) and
TypeSet (let's you have a WYSIWYG font menu and Font Sets).
