	You'll have to use SetStart to set "The Manager" as your startup
application.  In other words, unless you have booted GS/OS previously in the
same session, you can't run 16 bit programs from P8.  (And booting GS/OS 
before going into P8 is exactly what you worked around!  I've had it set up
this way for a looong time, as ProTERM's what I run most of the time, otherwise
I go to GS/OS from ProSEL 8)
