Just lucky, I guess.  But seriously, when I say "original" PRODOS I am 
referring to the small file called PRODOS on GSOS system disks.  This is
just a loader file that runs GSOS.  If you are trying to run the "real"
PRODOS file (the 35 block file) that may explain your crashes.
