looking for game

I'm looking for an APPLE ][ game I played about 10 years ago.  Since
it's been a long time, I may not be able to describe it properly,
but I'll try.  On each level, there are rectangular regions that are
circumnavigated by worm-like things.  You have to shoot the head of
the worm, or it separates in two and gets longer.  Anyway, the object
of the game is (I think) to navigate through the region, picking up
stars (?) until you get all of them, at which point you go to the next
level.  You only see part of a given level at a time, but the geometry
of each level is the same (i.e., not random).  I think you also may
be attacked by other things that rove through the maze, and you must
remove them before you can go to the next level.  I can remember that
I never got past the second level (not much of a game player).

I think the game had the word "star" in it, but I may be wrong...

Now for the kicker.  If the game exists, I can run it on a PC (my Apple
has long since been sold) using an emulator.  But I'd rather have a
PC-specific version, if one exists.
