Which part is bad the external "brick" or the internal part of the power
supply.
I believe that the 'brick" is just a RAW 13vdc supply.
I t can ce replaced by a 12dc supply.   I am MOT sure a automobile battery
charger would work.  You would probably need something with regulation and
filtering.   The internal part would be MUCH harder to "jury rig".
