WP and SS files will generally work okay with 3.0; DB's are another story. I have had some crashes trying to load (just for experiment's sake) 4.0-saved DB files into 3.0. Usually you will just get an "Error trying to read..." message when you try to load them, but sometimes 3.0 will let you load them -- with unpleasant results. Be careful out there!
