An apology:

A while back, I posted that Apple refused to release the driver specs for the
StyleWriter II to outside sources.  In making this erroneous statement, I
relied on sources which I considered reliable, and made no effort to verify
the truth of the statement.  Apologies to Matt, Apple, and anyone else who
may have been offended or upset about my remarks.
