Hmm, if I remember correctly, that guy fades away everytime Rastan
approaches him, making him an almost impossible foe to fight. The
solution I used was to go on the upper level by the stair case jump off
with the sword pointing down. It will take a few strikes before you'll be
able to finish him off. As for the blue balls, you just have to avoid
them.
