Jumbodesk problem?

I just found out that the reason my GS was crashing was
a) The control panels DA was corrupted. Replacing it with a copy from
the Sys 6 disk fixed this.
b) Jumbodesk. What's the most recent version of this? Is this known
to cause problems with systems that run GNO? (I don't see why it
should).
Symptom: If I start Finder from GNO, and then launch any other program
from Finder, the machine hangs as soon as I go to the menu bar (but
not before, because the clock is still ticking).
Note that I've posted this to both comp.sys.apple2 and
comp.sys.apple2.gno....
