The High Speed SCSI card does have one other advantage: better support
for some SCSI devices, particularly removable hard drives (like the
SyQuest). The original Apple SCSI card doesn't realise a hard drive is
removable, and gets very confused if you switch cartridges. If the
partition maps on the two drives are not identical, you will destroy
the contents of the newly inserted cartridge.
