Appleworks GS > PC/Unix formats

I'd like to convert some of my wife's Apple IIGS files to a PC/Unix file
format that we can use. I would prefer some type of Unix file, since we
have no DOS machines available for conversions. We mostly have word
processing and spreadsheet files and it's been so long since we powered
on the machine (can't find all the parts after we moved) we figured we
could ask the net for any information. ASCII with tabs would be fine
for the spreadsheets is that supported? We do have a comm program and
a null modem cable to get the dirty work done.

If we can get the conversion done, then we'll sell the machine cheap to
anyone who wants it (IIGS, early ROMS, 1.25MB RAM, 3.5", 5.25", licensed
copies of oodles of software, Imagewriter II, 12" color). Make offers
with advice!
