Morgan,
I found a bug in uemacs 3.12 while using MuGS with it. It seems the
@ input command is messed up. It is used like this:
set %newsgroup @"Enter newsgroup name: "
MicroEMACS will prompt for input from the user with the string
enclosed in quotes and place the result in the variable %newsgroup.
This does not work correctly in 3.12. Rather than printing the prompt
in the message area, it ignores the string, but begins accepting input
anyway. The result is a blinking cursor somewhere on the screen
(wherever it happened to be last) and whatever is typed showing up at
that position. You can still hit Return and your input will be stored
in the variable, but the prompt isn't displayed. So for now, stick with
version 3.11c if you use MuGS (this will affect all versions of MuGS).
Now I know why I get the warning "This version of MicroEMACS may not be
compatible" when I start it up... ;-)
