After long and ardous checking (ok, something went *click* ;-)), I've
found out why Prodos-8 doesn't recognize the floptical. If I go into Prodos-8
(either from GS/OS or cold boot) and there is no floptical disk in the drive,
the Prodos doesn't recognize it. If there is, then I can read from it.
However, if I want to WRITE to the floptical, I still have to go to Prodos-8
from GS/OS (ie, no write privs - get error - when booting directly into
Prodos-8).
However, when I boot into GS/OS, I have to have the drive empty when
the driver is being loaded, otherwise an extra HD (can't read/write/access).
I'm going to get around to installing Tulin's drivers some day (I just hate the
idea of it deleting the SCSImanager and SCSIHD tho - as someone here said it
does).
Ciao.
