BLOODY WEIRD PROBLEM!!!! I need help. Please help!!

Hi,
	I have this little problem.  I just moved a few of my desk accessories
over to a subdirectory in /hd1/system/desk.accs/not.often.used/ and then
rebooted and the machine hung upon loading Finder.  Shift booting works with no
problems.  I tried moving them back then.  This time I can boot, and Finder
comes up properly, with my first (of 4) HD partition even!!  Wondering what
happened to my other partitions, I tried to open the HD1.  To my surprise, it
asked me to insert the disk HD1!!!!  Validation says something like 30000+ bad
blocks.  Again, shiftbooting works (and no bad blocks either too!!)
	Below is a reasonable facsimile of what I did:

1) 3 finger salute
2) installed TMTERM (from cba2) in desk.accs
3) opened the desk.accs subdirectory and moved some less frequently desk
accessories to desk.accs/not.often.used.
4) reboot [hung in Finder]
5) 3 finger salute, shift boot, works, move files back to desk.accs
6) 3 finger salute, Finder came up, HD1 (of 4) came up.  Can't do anything with
HD1 as it kept asking me to insert disk HD1.
7) 3 finger salute, shift boot, works.
8) Gave up, came over here to csa2! ;-)

	Oh yeah, I also had a couple of crashes into the Fatal System Error,
error code 14E2.  Any ideas?
