FAQ? ][e to ][gs upgrade?

After being seperated from my Apple ][e for over 8 years, I am finally getting
it back. If my memory serves it had 2 disk ][ floppies, extended 80 column
card for a whopping 128K RAM, Monitor ///, a parallel port, and that's about
it. Hopefully I can remember most of the commands to run the thing.
Mainly I want to fire up all those old game disks I had (hopefully my brother-
in-law is returning those too)

Anyway, my questions:
o Is there a FAQ somewhere for ][e and ][gs ?

o Is there a way to upgrade a ][e to a ][gs, like a motherboard swap
(will a ][gs motherboard fit in a ][e case?) I've heard the ][gs
graphics and sound are much better than the ][e's, but I don't have
any ][gs software. Is it worth upgrading a ][e to a ][gs just for
games? How much would a ][gs u/g cost?

o Where can I find an RF modulator? I only have the old monitor ///
green screen and could use color for some of those games like Gumball
that were just too tough to play in monochrome. Or, where can I get
a cheap color monitor for the ][e, and what sort of interface do I
     need?

o What ways are there to xfer files from MSDOS to DOS3.3? I ask this cuz I
don't have a modem, but through work I have internet access via MSDOS
PCs and unix workstations. I'll need a way to transfer files from either
of those file systems over to Apple's DOS3.3.

o Is there a way to run ][e games on a 486? How well? Can copy protected
     disks be run as well?

Well, that's probably more than enough questions for now. (any pointers to
FAQ's would be nice. a FAQ emailed to me would be even nicer ;^))

Thanks in advance for any replies.
