Wait for mine: it will support symbolic links to directories, the most
important kind of symbolic link. And it will be optimized to make as few
calls as possible to resolve a link. It will also resolve prefixes once,
then set them to their resolved equivalent.
I hadn't touched it all week last week, but now I'm making some real progress.
I worked on it 3 days in a row, so it might be ready soon.
BTW, I was not aware of this French program when I started.
Hmm, maybe I'll write the docs in French just to conform to the existing
standard :-)
