Re: The Works 4.0 with II+?

Don't we have to draw the line somewhere? Using a ][+ with the latest
version of AppleWorks Classic? A refurbished //e in a minimum configuration
costs very little, and even less if bought formsomeone on the net. The
][+ can get pumped up with extra memory, an 80column card, SCSI card,
etc etc etc, but a dog turd with frosting on it is still a dog turd.

I am still an 8bit enthusiast as much as the next guy, but wanting to
whip a ][+ to fit AppleWorks v4 or vice versa is asking a little much.

I tell people that ask "how do I upgrade my //e after I bought blah blah
blah" and I usually say sell the //e and get a GS or swap out the mother-
board at least and put a GS motherboard inside. It's not worth it to
make your computer jump through a lot of hoops to get something done.
Of couse, a little hoop jumping is OK :)
