That's a good price, although it'd be nice to know which Seagate it is.
Looking at a recent Computer Currents ( late August's ), I would recommend
a Quantum PD1225s, it's a 3.5" halfheight SCSI with 5 year warrenty.  It's
$999, and if you buy from out of state, no need to pay tax.

Prices probably have dropped since then, I think I'll pick up a more 
recent one to see if there are better prices...
