Printer Advice

Hello! The printer I have connected to my Apple //c (with 5.25" drive)
finally died and went to printer heaven (I know this because I printed
my PhD thesis out on it years ago, AND had it accepted, so this printer
definitely has plenty of good Karma). Anyhow, I need a replacement.
The replacement printer must meet the following specs:
	- Letter quality or near-letter quality output
	- Compatibility with an Apple //c (5.25" drive) running
AppleWorks 2.1 and WordPerfect (version 2.0? - not sure)
	- The potential for being used in the future with a PC-Clone (i.e.,
I would prefer a printer with both a parallel and a
	        serial interface for the Apple).
	- Apple-user tested (i.e., "I know this machine works on the Apple,
		'cause I've seen it happen")
	- Price tag: <$350.
	- Preferably a QUIET machine...I've had enough of the rattlings of
		my old daisy-wheel beast.
	- Reliability and reasonably good support - I'd rather not buy a
		no-name clone.
	- If possible for the price, an internal text buffer.

Post answers here or by E-mail...thanks in advance!
