Software for //gs HELP!

I hope I am posting this in the right newsgroup; I am a Macintosh user and 
NEVER read this! I don't even know what an Apple // looks like...   :-(

Anyways, I was given the task of finding some sort of accounting software for
the Apple //gs and thing I might have found something. BUT, the person selling
it is not aware if it will run on a //gs!

It's supposed to run on an Apple //. Does this mean it WILL run on a //gs?
What about accounting software... Does anyone know of such a beast that will
run on a //gs? And if you have a copy to sell, it would be even better!  :-)
