Independence vs. PerfectImage

Is there much difference between Vitesse's PerfectImage and Seven Hills'
Independence, both of which I understand to be improved Imagewriter II print
drivers?  How much better are they than the standard Apple driver?  Are they
worth the $20?  Thanks!
