        The laserjet series DOES work well. Most other laser printers 
emulate the HP. While I was waiting for mine to come in the place I 
bought it from allowed me to try some of the other machines they had. 
Some are much better than the HP but here in Winnipeg there was no 
technical support available. I would have to send the printer to the 
states for repair. With the HP I could just drive across town and say to 
them "Here, fix it".

        A word of advice. Don't get a printer with less than one meg of 
memory. Less memory means the printer will not be able to do as much with 
large files or graphics.
