Bill Heineman's current project is "Mario Teaches Typing" for the IIgs.
If all went as planned, it should be finished and available for orders
any week now. Basically it's just an educational program for younger
children that teaches them how to type using the computer keyboard.
Characters from the SNES's "SuperMario World" make an appearance...
"Out of This World II" already exists for the Sega Genesis on CD-ROM, and
it's currently being ported to other games systems and computer platforms.
Hopefully Bill will be porting over a IIgs version around the same time
he does (is he?) a SuperNintendo version, just like the original. This
time though, I hope he does a _decent_ job in porting over the music from
the SuperNintendo version. I know there wasn't enough space to fit all
the sound-effects _AND_ instrument waveforms into DOC-RAM (the reason we
got such nice sound-effects, but very "synthy" sounding music), but
here's an idea: Why not add the option of [Better Music/ no sound] to
the preference menu at startup? That way, you could still have both sound
and music like in the original, but an opinion to turn off sound-effects
completely and use *ALL* 64k of DOC-RAM for nice sounding waveform instrument
files (There was certainly enough space left on both disks to add such
an opinion). Or perhaps, if possible, use some form of DOC-to-RAM swapping
to get both clear digitized sounds effects and high-quality background music
during the game.

Pinball Wizard IIGS exists, at least in a semi-finished beta form. Not
much of a game, but then how much quality software did we ever see coming
from Accolade past 1987? ;-) I agree about seeing more arcade games. The
IIgs is _very_ capable of doing high-quality arcade-style games, even by
today's standards!
