Sequential Announces Support BBS

(Lafayette, CO) Sequential Systems, Inc. announced today a new advance in
customer and dealer support: the Sequential BBS.  This new service
provides a place for users and resellers alike to discuss Sequential
products and get quick and responsive technical support. 

The Sequential BBS runs under the UNIX operating system, which allows us
to bring you some very advanced features in a very simple package: 

  o Fax section automatically faxes you product information!
  o File transfer area allows you to keep up to date on Sequential software
    products such as our SpeedPort drivers for the IIGS, and MegaWriter for
    the Macintosh; in addition, free software is available to help you get the
    most out of your Sequential products. 
  o Message area helps keep you up to date on upgrades and new product
    announcements, in addition to helping you track down problems with
    your equipment.

In addition, the BBS utilizes the PICO text editor, a full-screen editor
which is NOT your normal UNIX editor; PICO is easy for anyone to use
because available commands are always listed on the screen! (Requires
VT100 terminal emulation - software for Apple II available on the BBS!)

We wish to reaffirm our committment to such services as GEnie, America Online,
and Delphi; we will continue to provide top-notch support there. With our
BBS we are simply adding another avenue for this support.

Any baud rate from 300-14400, V.32bis/V.42bis, one hour per day time
limit, no "validation" necessary.  Use 8 data bits, No parity, and 1 Stop Bit.

At the 'login' prompt, type 'bbs', and also type 'bbs' for 'Password:' and
you'll be into the BBS.
