Re: Former AppleII user...

Well, I have purchased a new computer as a result of the short comings
of the ][gs. Now I still own my ][gs and use it but what finally
pushed me to another machine was development environments. ORCA/C
2.0 did it. I do not mean to slam Mike Westerfield, but 2.0 was so bad
that I just couldn't stand to fight with it anymore. I have been having
a great time on my new Mac and haven't hit a single compiler problem.

A few other comments:

1) The GS/OS and Finder are generally superior to the Mac. Yes the mac
multitasks, but there are some really annoying things that it does.
(Unfortunately 6.0.1 now does some of the same annoying things).

2) I miss the seperation of the tools. I just think it is a cleaner
   model.

3) The GS doc is MUCH better. I dont have any of the new Inside Mac
books yet, but comparing the GS doc with the older Mac doc, I have
been going back to the GS doc to get a better explanation of stuff.
Sure some stuff is different, but a lot is the same or really close.

Anyways, just thought I would comment.
