Ultima I!

I went to visit the library today (I used to work there, and still
volunteer there on a part time basis, helping them out with their II
stuff), and I discovered that someone has recently donated them an original
copy of Ultima I (the plastic bag, the original disk, and two manual-type
sheets). Since I figure that it's valuable, I wouldn't let the patrons
touch it, if I could help it :). Anyways, since they can still get good use
out of the software, I was wondering if anyone knows
(a) if there is any copy protection on the original Ultima I. (I didn't
bother to check, but I figured there might be some sort.)
(b) If anyone still remembers how to crack this protection.
