Negativity for which you have NO ONE to blame but yourself. Your reputation

'Revolutionary'? I take it you learned something from ShellPlay then. Self
synchronizing free run players are not a difficult concept. Steve Gunn (the
guy who wrote Ensoniq Peeker) had sample source for it at KansasFest.

What, you mean MZ doesn't just replicate the sample a few times and adjust
the resolution and frequency to compensate? Assuming you still get reasonable
values to put in the DOC registers and the sample itself is OK, there's no
reason that wouldn't work.
