I have the opportunity to buy a "Disk III" drive. It is described
as having the same innards (mechanically as the traditional Disk ][,
but with a different analogue card.
QUESTION: If I install a Disk ][ analogue card on the Disk III drive,
will it then become compatible with my Apple II systems? What compications
complications (if any) should I anticipate?
As the name suggests, the Disk III drive was built for the Apple III
computer.
