I've been a long time user and supporter of Apple II's since i got
my first one in 7th grade. I learned how to program on one, went
to a national programming contest and everything.
I still have a IIe along with a //c+.
Alas, in my duties of SysAdmin of the two labs i run, i had to get
a computer that could use dialin PPP. since apple could not do it
nor had a notebook, and since i had a friend that was selling his
compaq LITE 3/25E LTE for a good price, i bought it.
After a while of using it i got to miss my AppleIIe, though i could
still use it those days i went home.
I found an AppleIIe emulator on oakland and have since installed it.
It works great! It's so cool to be able to be here working on an
IBM 'cept it looks like an apple IIe! Needless to say, i get some
wierd comments about it.
Now, what i would like to do is to find a way to get the images
of all of my hundred's of disks onto my IBM drive. I have a 209.4 mb
internal HD and it's only 1/3 full. I would like to be able to run my
old favorite games along with possibly AppleWorks, if at all possible.
Does anybody have any idea how to get these disk images onto this
laptop? i'd owe you a large debt!
thanx!
