Phantom HD problem solved (hopefully!)

Hiya,
I've solved my phantom drives mystery (at least it disappeared the last
2 or 3 times I booted). About all that I did was disable SCSIScan.Driver and
reboot though the first time I rebooted (after disabling it), it still asked me
about .AppleSCSI.HD02.01 and HD02.02. But subsequent reboots solved the
problem. Too, the first couple of times I rebooted after I installed 6.0.1, I
didn't have the problem. 6.0.1 suffers from lagging?? ;-)
What does SCSIScan.Driver do anyway? Also, if I remember correctly,
there was a discussion about problems returning to Finder from P8 programs, can
anyone send me a summary of the problems/solutions? I have trouble returning
to Finder from P8 programs but I can use the QUIT.TO to go to other P16
programs, but returning to Finder still thrashes it. What happens is Finder
crashes (that may be a wrong word, I've the "break" Init installed, so if Finder
crashes, I should have a red X as a cursor, which I don't -- it just sorts of
does nothing...) after detecting the phantom drive. Hmm, now that I've solved
my phantom drive problem, maybe it will work properly? Welp, if it doesn't,
you'll will hear from me again... ;-)
	Ciao.

ps: Those who say shift booting does not install any CDAs, try shift booting
with Diversi-Cache already installed... ;-) That's what threw me off... ;-)
Diversi-Cache can be found on the FTA Plotting disk, if you are interested.
