Yes and no.  Yes it would be physically possible to hack the hardware
and connect some RAM chips in banks $80-DF, (giving you 14 megs) but it
wouldn't be very useful since the memory manager might not recognize it.
 Of course you could bank switch too... but then you have more memory
management problems.
