This is nuts. The official 'Apple-approved' method of adding a font on a Mac
is dropping it in the font folder. The difference between the Mac and an
Amiga is that Apple is selling to the business market, not the hobbyist
market. Hobbyists like to muck around with things and if they screw something
up, they can probably fix it. That is not the case for your average run
of the mill business computer user. The whole point of the Mac is that
klutzo people won't do any unintentional damage, but the tools are available
if you want to screw around with things.
