This was being discussed in another thread here just a couple of
days ago... Although the data structure of the Truetype font is the
same, the Mac/GS _file_ format is different. We like 'em in resource
forks and Windows likes 'em in the data fork. There are some gory
little details when converting between the two, but save yourself the
hassle and find a Mac with TTConvert and use that to the conversion.
Once I get my floptical (so I can clear off some junk off my hard
drive), I'll start uploading all my Truetypes to grind.isca.uiowa.edu.
I barely have enough room to hold the ShrinkIt files on my HD now, which
kind of sucks. :(
