A third-party PostScript driver

Allow me to put out the call now.

The Apple II world could use a Level II Postscript printer driver. The Apple
II (I guess I'm really talking about the GS) has not had a feature ladden,
up-to-date, Postscript driver since Apple brought out their own version.

Whether or not the rumors are true and the Apple II Continuing Engineering
group has been dibanded, Apple is not going to go update the current driver
much more or at all. There still isn't a facility to name your Postscript
files before you save them or place them anywhere in particular, and I
believes it only really supports up to the Laserwriter NT specifically!

This opens the door for A Third-Party Opportunity. I would love to see a
Level II Postscript driver, with the ability to save named files, specific
printer description files, the ability to download fonts, and of course, GS/OS
friendly. Either shareware or published would be great; I would think a
price of at least $25.00 shareware would not only be expected, but reasonable.

Just some of my thoughts, and kudos to the first person/company that brings
out this driver. :)
