3.5" Drives Question

Hello out there!

 I understand that the Apple 3.5" Unidrive (19 pin D) and the AE 3.5"
drive (type AE06, also 19 pin D) are different interfaces and NOT
compatible, even tho both look like nice daisy-chain devices. Is it true
that the AE needs just a 19-pin version of the old Disk ][ 20-pin
interface? If so, would you have any idea of a source for the info on
the cable? I won't try plugging the AE drive into anything unless I'm
sure! I'm applying both of these to a //e setup. I have a Unidisk card
(19 pin), an old Disk ][ card (20 pin), a Unidisk drive (19 pin), and an
AE drive (19 pin).
