/-\ll of the programs released by the Lost Classics Project on
GEnie so far have been released to the entire Apple II world and
can be downloaded and reuploaded freely to any system. Most of
them so far have been released as freeware (all of Paul Lutus'
programs are now freeware). I know one, the WPL Expansion Kit for
AppleWriter, has been released as shareware. It's conceivable that
at some point an author may wish to restrict a program's distribution,
but the Lost Classics Project itself tries to get every program
released into as wide a distribution as possible. (The release of
all the back issues of 8/16-Central and Apple Assembly Line magazines,
to the A2Pro libraries one GEnie, while associated with the Lost
Classics Project, wasn't specifically a Lost Classics effort. Due
to the wishes of the original publishers of those magazines, their
distribution HAS been restricted to GEnie.)

\_|ust recently the OFFICIAL release of the Lost Classic game
Tranquility Base, by Bill Budge, was made available in the A2
libraries on GEnie. If someone else wanted to they could go ahead
and download that file from GEnie and reupload it elsewhere.
