As of August 12, 1993, the GS System Software version 6.0.1 (7 disks) and
the Apple II System Disk version 4.0.2 will be available for download on
Cynosure BBS (formerly The II Sysops BBS). There is no charge for access
(other than the phone call), and you will be able to download the software
on your first call (no waiting to be verified).
The phone number for Cynosure BBS is (410) 549-2584. Instructions for
downloading the software will be listed online. Even if you are calling long
distance at 9600 bps, this is a economical alternative to downloading the
software from a commercial online service.
The software will not be availabe until AUGUST 12.
