  Does the drives access light come on at all when the system is scanning
 the slots for a bootable device? Or is it just sitting there without doing
 anything at all?  I have/had/still do but its no longer running a Sider D2.
 I also have the all prodos rom for the controller card. Let me know and I
 will see if I have had similar problems or not with mine. Also, I can send
 you the name of a guy that is very knowledgeable about the Sider drives,
 he use to have a company called On-Three.
