Your best bet is the Pegasus internal hard drive system from Econ Tech-
nologies.  It replaces your full-size power supply with a 1/2 size ps
and a 1/2height SCSI hard drive of any size from 42megs to 240megs.  You
can even get a bare housing + ps and put your "Macintosh" SCSI drive
in it.  Then attach a RAMFast or Apple HighSpeed SCSI card to the drive,
and you have a complete internal hard drive system.

I had a 42meg system and I recently took out the 42meg Quantum ELS mechanism
and put in a 220meg HP mechanism (by the way, if you get a HP mechanism
you must get a RAMFast card because the Apple HighSpeed SCSI sucks rocks
when it comes to handling non-"standard" termination power).

When I want to move my system, I can just take my IIGS and go.  No extra
boxes, etc when I want to show something off I just take my GS and mouse
and monitor and I'm off.

I chose the Pegasus because I used to have a Vulcan20 which died and I needed
a replacement hard drive and power supply, and buying a Pegasus was the same
price as my buying an external SCSI hd with controller and a seperate power
supply.  Plus I hate to have another box on my desk, it's bad enough as
it is. :)

A 42meg Pegasus is about $400.  A bare Pegasus, you drop in your own SCSI
hard drive, is about $170.  Tell 'em Steve Craft sent you when you call. :)
