ABT numeric keypad on //e?
I have an old ABT (Advanced Business Technologies) numeric keypad
I received with an Apple ][. It's has 13-keys with a 40-pin connector attached
to a long wire. It didn't come with instructions, but I assume it plugs into
the keyboard IC socket (on keyboard curcuit board) and the keyboard ROM
piggybacks on top of it.
What I need to know is, will this keypad work on an Apple //e? If so,
and someone remembers the ABT keypad, I'd need to know which way it plugs
into the IC socket (wire to the right or left of the socket?).
I Also have a 24-key numeric keypad from "The Keyboard Company". It comes
with a small daughterboard that allows it to connect to an Apple ][/][+.
However, the 14-pin female connector that attaches to the daughterboard looks
like it _might_ independantly plug into the numberic-keypad pins on the //e
motherboard -- would this work?
