Sure can! Sell your II+, buy a IIgs, and keep using your existing
peripherals! :-)
Seriously, though: the II+ power supply probably can't cope, the
keyboard can't be connected to the IIgs motherboard, the motherboard
won't fit on the baseplate and the replacement baseplate wouldn't fit
on the case, and I don't think you can remove the back panel.
The IIe-to-IIgs upgrade involves swapping the baseplate and back panel
as well as the motherboard. All that is left is the plastic case,
keyboard, lid and power supply.
