It's no theory, it's a fact. I've got an 88meg SyQuest drive connected to
a RAMfast SCSI card. Works OK.

No.

Dragging the icon to the trash will remove the drive icons from the
desktop, but to eject the disk, you still need to press the spin down
button and wait for the disk to stop before ejecting the cartridge.
