    Definitely the wrong group.  You don't need the FAQ to figure this
out, just look at the name:  comp.sys.apple2.  You're looking for a
newsgroup in the comp.sys.mac.* hierarchy.  I know, the Mac is from
Apple, but the Apple II has its own hierarchy, as does the Mac.
