Apple // as a terminal server?

Has anyone thought about using an apple ][ (or //e, or gs, or whatever)
as a terminal server? I was thinking that with a localtalk card, I could
get a few serial cards for my //e and turn it into the equivilant of
a terminal server. It'd run TCP/IP on top of the localtalk, allowing me
to telnet and rlogin into something like A/UX.

Imagine..

Welcome to the Apple // terminal server.
type "?" for help

a2ts> telnet unixbox

...humm

If anyone's done something like this, please mail me.
