Re: Possible hardpressed bug
Andy,
On a semi-related note, when you copy and the target is full, you get the
dialog box telling you that a problem occured and HP is going to restrict
access until you free up some space. In the process of organizing my
archives (Gee, I must trust HP a lot!), I have gotten this quite a few
times, and I have found it pretty irritating. Would it be possible to
give the option to tell HP to just abandon the operation?
My case has been copying stuff to floppies. I try to copy too much to the
floppy and HP does its restricted access thing. To get around it i have
to move some stuff off the floppy, do the retry, then shuffle some more
when all I really want it to do is just say 'Disk Full' and be done with it.
Aside from that, even though it was a long time, thanks for taking the
extra time before releasing HP. So far I have only lost 1 file (the data file
for the Quit-To cda) which I have been unable to recreate and a few
hiccups here and there where it tells me it thinks a files header is
corrupt (but it isnt). Pretty good for what it does and the disk space
I got back, if you ask me..
