New Math Coprocessor - who has a need for it???

Hello Net!

I have finally located the hardware engineer of the Number Cruncher
card, a fully Floating Point Engine compatible math coproc board. I was
wondering if anyone wants such a thing.

First some facts about the NC:
The NC is, contrary to the FPE, a _working_ card. It does not have all
those design flaws of the FPE and thus is operating even under special
conditions (heat, noise in the line..).
Furthermore, the NC consists of the finest parts only (sockets, ceramic
carriers etc.). This also means that the card is rather expensive (ca.
$200 without the 68882).

Maybe I should clarify that this is not a "commercial" posting. We
agreed to sell the board at a 0.0 profit margin - the engineer only asks
for a small amount for labour.

He said that he has ca. 5 (empty) boards left. Depending on the needs of
Apple II users, it's possible that he will produce another serie of 50
or 100 boards.

Please mail me if you're _seriously_ (!) interested. It's a shame that
this very powerful card has been asleep for so long...
