Did you use the Installer to remove them with?  (If you made a mistake
and didn't remove any "associated files".  Then try using the Installer
on you Seven Hills disk.  It will know what to remove and should solve
your "crashes" problem.  Try it, even if you think you have removed
everything.  It won't complain about some of the files being already gone.)
