    I meant "Who wrote UltraLaunch?", not "Who wrote the message?".  ;-)

    IICue is a combination of Applesoft BASIC programming and a really
nifty ampersand routine.  The & command pops up a GS-like file dialog on
the text screen.  You can pass it filetype filters so that only certain
filetypes show up.  It has GS-style keyboard commands (Tab to show
volumes, Esc to close a folder, up/down arrows, etc.) and it returns the
chosen file's pathname in an Applesoft variable.  IICue (the BASIC
program) uses this & command when you add programs to its run list, or
when you want to run any program.  The standard IICue launcher isn't
that spectacular, but you can easily write your own custom launcher
using this & command.  I got it off comp.binaries about a month ago.
