- Summary: 'A serious problem has occurred.'
I am having a problem with my StyleWriter (I) with AppleWorks GS. After
months of use with no problems, suddenly anytime I want to print, the printer
prints two or three lines, then I get an 'A serious problem has occurred'
message. There is no other explanation offered by the dialog. I have tried
printing other files that have previously printed fine on the StyleWriter; I
have replaced the driver; I have re-installed System 6; I have checked the
printer for any visible problems. None of this has solved the problem, or
offered any kind of reason for the message. I'm hoping this is something
simple like needing to replace the ink cartridge (although there still seems
to be ink in it). Please help!
