Yes. It is possible to hook an Imagewriter II printer to an MS-DOS Computer.
For cable problems, you have to build or buy a mini-din 8 to DB9 or DB25
cable. The schema of such a cable should be in the IW II user manual.
For software, I tried to make it work under Windows. I used to solutions:
  - to use the TTY printer driver: You just have to configure it for special
    characters, bold and italic and it will work well for text.
  - for graphics, the solution if found is to use the C_Itoh driver provided 
    with Windows. It is very similar with the IW II and it works. However, I
    have a small problem with the formfeed that didn't work well.
